What is this project about?
Cover Finance was a DeFi platform I co-founded as a Founding Member and Frontend Lead. We built a decentralised finance platform offering multiple derivative financial products on the Ethereum blockchain.
My focus was the frontend — architecting the React.js application, integrating Web3.js and Ethers.js for on-chain interactions, and implementing the Solidity smart contract interfaces that powered the product experience. I contributed to both product design and the tokenomics architecture.
We launched during the height of DeFi summer, building fast in a rapidly evolving ecosystem where the rules were being written in real time.
Building on a public blockchain means your mistakes are permanent and visible — it instilled a discipline around code review and testing I carried forward into every project since
DeFi forced me to think about trust at the protocol level — not just 'what does the UI show' but 'what does the contract guarantee'
