What is this project about?
I kept seeing the same thing: a creator with a genuinely engaged following — 5,000, 10,000 followers — stuck working full-time because they had no way to turn their audience into income. Brands wanted reach. Creators wanted deals. Nobody had built the bridge that worked for both sides at the HK and Asia level.
So I built it. A platform connecting early-stage content creators with brands for authentic campaigns — with Xiaohongshu (RED) as a first-class channel from day one, because ignoring where Asian audiences actually live is just bad product thinking.
Features: campaign marketplace, escrow payment system for secure creator payouts, AI-powered creator-brand matching, a UGC content marketplace, and mass micro-influencer campaign tooling. End-to-end, solo-built, from frontend to backend to cloud infrastructure.
Takeaway #1: 🌏 Build for where the audience actually is
Western influencer platforms default to Instagram and TikTok. For Asia, that's only half the story. Xiaohongshu alone has hundreds of millions of active users — and most platforms in this space completely ignore it.
Build for actual behaviour, not assumed behaviour. The market opportunity isn't always where the loudest conversation is.
